Second Graders Become Graphic Designers
Second graders experienced what it was like to be a graphic designer when they designed their very own flyer for Tuxedo Junction.
Melissa Stanton, Marketing Coordinator for Tuxedo Junction, visited CSAT's second graders to talk to them about what she does for her career. She spoke about how she went to school to learn programs like Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop and the importance of continuing to learn new tools within these programs so she is always up to date with her knowledge.
Students asked questions like "do you have any tips or pointers for us if we were interested in your career?" as Melissa spoke about her daily duties. Students had a blast when Melissa helped the students to design their very own flyer. They told her what colors to use and where to place different items and ended up with this....
