Who Won The Golden Tickets?
CSAT students can earn Eagle Bucks everyday for showcasing exemplary behavior; but this week came with a twist.
As part of the PBIS program, the Elementary School launched a special Golden Eagle Buck program to encourage students to exhibit positive behaviors while reminding both faculty and staff to continue recognizing them for the great work. In addition to traditional Eagle Bucks, each teacher and staff member were given one "Golden Eagle Buck" to add to their pile. The random Golden Eagle Bucks were distributed throughout the week to students in grades K-5, and those who received a Golden Eagle Buck were eligible to win the ultimate prize: lunch with Mr. Martinez, superintendent of the Charter School for Applied Technologies.
In total, over 100 Golden Eagle Bucks were distributed. Of those 100+ students, 8 lucky recipients were chosen at random for a catered meal from Panera which they enjoyed in Mr. Martinez's office. There they had the opportunity to learn more about the superintendent, ask him questions and enjoy their special lunch. In addition, the staff members who gave out the winning tickets at random also won a GOOSE Award - Get Out Of School Early! Overall the program was a smashing success and the elementary school looks forward to conducting it again in the future.
Congratulations to all the students and staff members who help make our school a place of positivity, kindness and leadership!
Congratulations!
