Q: Can my child bring their own laptop or tablet to school?
A: Yes! Students may bring a school-approved device for classroom use. Devices must be registered with the Technology Department as part of being an approved device. A small sticker may be required for ease of identification of an approved device.
Approved devices include:
· Laptops running Windows 10 or 11 with a minimum of 4GB of ram. 8GB is optimal
· Android tablet version 13+, 4GB RAM, 9 inch screen or larger with keyboard (No Amazon Fire Tablets)
· Chromebooks Quad Core CPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB eMMC/SSD, 11in Screen
· iPads 7th generation or newer (with keyboard)
· MacBooks 2012 or later
Q: I have a data plan from a provider (AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, etc.) on my device that allows Internet access without using the BYOD network. Is this allowable?
