Middle School Names New Principal and Assistant Principal
The Charter School for Applied Technologies is pleased to announce that Anthony Favata has been named Middle School principal and Michele Fiorella has been named Middle School assistant principal.
Mr. Favata comes to CSAT with 16 years of experience in education. A Western New York native, he recently returned to the area from Broward County, Florida. There, he served the last six years as an assistant principal within the Broward County Public Schools, the sixth-largest school district in the nation. Favata holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Buffalo State College and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Florida Atlantic University.
Mrs. Fiorella has been with CSAT for 14 years, most recently serving as assistant director of special education. Previously, she served as a special education educator and mentor. Fiorella holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in special education from D’Youville as well as advanced certification in school building leader and school district leader from Canisius College.
