Open Enrollment Underway Through April 1

apply now

The Open Enrollment period for the 2021-2022 school year at CSAT is underway. Applications to attend the school will be accepted at any time until the deadline on April 1. Kindergarten will have the greatest number of openings, followed by sixth and ninth grade; the rest of the grade levels’ admissions will be limited. New this year, students receiving special education services as well as students receiving English as a New Language (ENL) services will be given an enrollment preference in our admissions lottery.

Admission to CSAT is free and open to all students eligible to attend public school in Erie and Niagara counties. Should applications exceed capacity, a lottery is held to determine acceptance, and then a waiting list is created for each grade level. Since the school is located within the Kenmore-Tonawanda School District, Ken-Ton residents are given preference for enrollment, as well as siblings (brother and sisters) of current CSAT students.

With over 2,300 students, CSAT is the largest charter school in New York State and has one of the highest graduation rate of any charter school in the area.
