Celebration of Reading Goes Digital
Pandemic and all – the show must go on!
Each year, the Charter School for Applied Technologies presents the Celebration of Reading, bringing community volunteers in as “Celebrity Readers” to read to K-5 classrooms, talk about the importance of reading and education, and answer questions about their careers.
This year, we were able to continue the event digitally thanks to some of our most dedicated annual readers. Participants were asked to share information about their careers and their love of books and reading, which teachers could then share with students.
Huge thanks to those who helped keep this “event” going. Click below for more information about our readers.
