• CSAT
    The Charter School for Applied Technologies (CSAT) opened its doors in 2001 as a 700-student school serving grades K-6.  Today, CSAT is a busy campus consisting of three distinct buildings (Elementary, Middle and High Schools), that host approximately 2,300 students from 19 different school districts throughout WNY. 

    What Makes CSAT So Different?

    Like every parent, your child's safety, happiness, and education are among your first priorities. We at CSAT share these priorities, and hold ourselves to high standards to better prepare your child for the challenging society that awaits him/her. When a parent selects CSAT, they are making a choice that will result in a positive, profound difference in the life of their child.  How do we do it?  
    • Dress code 
      Students K-12 adhere to a strict dress code. 
    • Music & sports 
      At last count, CSAT boasted 70+ extracurricular teams, performing groups and clubs for students, including participation in National Art Honor Society, a competitive marching band and jazz ensemble and 11 Varsity Sports. In addition, CSAT is the only charter schools that competes in Section VI's Niagara Frontier League. 
    • Career Preparation 
      Our motto, “Every Day is Career Day,” rings true. CSAT's school-to-career component prepares all students, including those who may not be college bound, for the world of work. Career preparation activities begin in kindergarten and develop as students grow, culminating in job shadowing and internships in high school.
    • Safety & Compassion 
      Like you, we take your child's safety and happiness very seriously.  A big part of this belief stems from a very high standard of conduct that all students are expected to uphold.  In addition, services such as Special Education, Behavioral and Occupational therapy, and English as a Second Language (ESL) are available to all students who require them. Also, unique programming such as our Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports and Character Education initiatives ensure that students are getting all the support and direction they need,  not only in the classroom, but outside as well.   
    • Computers & technology 
      CSAT is proud to offer 1-1 computer technology in all our schools. Our buildings feature state-of-the-art computer labs, Project Lead the Way, and advanced manufacturing and science labs.
