COVID-19 TESTING
Effective January 27, 2021, all Orange and Yellow Cluster Zones for Erie County have been lifted, which has eliminated the need for 20 percent testing of students, faculty and staff per month. Therefore, CSAT will no longer be conducting random COVID-19 testing in our schools. We will continue to keep you updated if anything changes. As always, thank you for your patience.
We continue to work with the Erie County Health Department in meeting requirements for testing 20 percent of our in-person students, faculty and staff per month. NYSDOH has provided CSAT with the Abbott BinexNOW nasal rapid test, which is a quick, simple testing method that is not as invasive as other tests. Consent for testing is requested only for students who will be attending classes/session in-person.
If you are the parent of a K-3 or Grade 6 hybrid student,
OR
you completed our survey and opted for in-person instruction for your student,
OR
you have been contacted about your student attending a small in-person group session,we ask that you complete the COVID-19 Student Testing Consent Permission Form (1 Per Child).
