    High School Gereral Science Long-term Sub:  The Charter School for Applied Technologies is seeking a High School General Science Long-term Substitute for the remaining school year. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and hold certifications in the following areas; Adolescent General Science 7 - 12   The candidate must be able to work in a Professional Learning Community and experience working in an urban environment is preferred.  Very competitive salary and member of the NYS Teacher Retirement System.

    Full Time- 40 hours/week/Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; this position will be open until filled

     


    Elementary School Clerk:  The Charter School for Applied Technologies has an immediate opening for an Elementary School Clerk. The ideal candidate with have a high school diploma/GED, two years of clerical work preferably requiring frequent contact with the public. Bilingual language and writing skills a plus.     High School ESL Teacher: The Charter School for Applied Technologies has an immediate opening for English as a Second Language Long-Term Sub. The ideal candidate should have ESL certification and be proficient in speaking Spanish and/or have a Spanish certification. Experience teaching in an urban school is preferred.     K-5 Long-Term Special Education Sub: The Charter School for Applied Technologies is seeking a K-5 Special Education Long-term sub.  The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Education, working on a Master's Degree and be NYS certified in Special Education grades K-6 or K-12 Special Education.     K-5 Long Term Sub: The Charter School for Applied Technologies is seeking K-5 Long-Term Subs.  The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Education and NYS Elementary Education 1-6 Teaching Certification; experience teaching in an urban school is preferred.  Very competitive salary and member of the NYS Teachers Retirement System.

    HS Science – Earth Science Teacher: The Charter School for Applied Technologies has an expected opening for the 20-21 school year for a High School Earth Science teacher. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and hold certifications in the following areas; Adolescent General Science 7 – 12 or Earth Science. This position is Earth Science with a focus on student-centered learning and college readiness.  The candidate must be able to work in a Professional Learning Community and experience working in an urban environment is preferred.  Very Competitive salary and member of the NYS Teacher Retirement System.

    Part-time CleanerThe Charter School for Applied Technologies is seeing Part-time Cleaners for evening shift 4pm.-10 pm. Applicant should be dependable, have a High School Diploma and must be able to pass background check.     Substitute Nurse: The Charter School for Applied Technologies is looking for Per Diem substitute nurses.  Candidates must have RN degree.  Busy office for Grades K-5, and High School.
