    Elementary Main Office Clerk:
    T
    his is an extremely fast-paced position that requires excellent interpersonal and computer proficiency skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel). The successful candidate will have the ability to work within a team on projects and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are required. Some duties are but not limited to answering phones, taking messages, directing calls, coordinating general school office operations, typing, greeting, and attending to school visitors & school staff. The ideal candidate will have a high school Diploma/GED, bilingual preferred but not required.

    MIDDLE SCHOOL OPENINGS:

    Chorus Long-Term Substitute:
    The ideal candidate will be certified in Music K-12 with a Coral background. Experience working in an urban school is preferred.   

    Special Education Teacher:
    The successful candidate is a dynamic educator who can: 

    • Co-plan and teach instruction in the sciences per NYS Next Gen Standards 
    • Provide support for all students in a science classroom consistent with the school's instructional program to ensure students meet and exceed learning targets 
    • Evaluate students' progress and maintain complete and accurate records of student work, accommodations, and minutes 
    • Effectively communicate with parents and families, students, and administrators 

    HIGH SCHOOL OPENINGS:

    Special Education /Math or Generalist:
    Full-time, high school Special Education Math or Generalist teacher.  The successful candidate is a dynamic educator who can:

    • Co-plan and co-teach instruction in math classrooms per NYS Next Generation Learning Standards
    • Provide support for special education students consistent with the school's instructional program to ensure students meet and exceed learning targets
    • Create long- and short-term plans to support individual student needs
    • Evaluate students' progress and maintain complete and accurate records of student work, accommodations, and minutes for students with IEPs and 504s
    • Collaborate with colleagues in multiple departments to ensure student success
    • Effectively communicate with parents and families, students, and administrators

    Living Environment Teacher:
    Starting February 1, 2023. The successful candidate is a dynamic educator who can: 

    • Co-plan and teach instruction in Living Environment per NYS Next Gen Standards 
    • Provide support for all students in a Living Environment classroom consistent with the school's instructional program to ensure students meet and exceed learning targets 
    • Evaluate students' progress and maintain complete and accurate records of student work 
    • Effectively communicate with parents and families, students, and administrators

    Substitute Teachers:

    Substitute Nurse: The Charter School for Applied Technologies is looking for Per Diem substitute nurses.  Candidates must possess RN/LPN license.  Busy office for Grades K-5, and High School. $160/day

    Part-time Café Prep:
    The ideal candidate must be dependable, have a high school diploma/GED and must be able to pass a background check including fingerprints. Experience in the school lunch program is preferred. Days Monday -Friday hours from 7:30 am -2:00 pm
