CSAT Recognized by D’Youville College for Innovative Partnership

The Charter School for Applied Technologies has been recognized by D’Youville College for an innovative partnership between the two educational institutes.

Academic leaders from the college presented CSAT’s Community Liaison Thomas Sullivan with a plaque in recognition of our partnership with D’Youville on the Bridge Year Program, where CSAT students can attain college credits through D’Youville in the health care career field. The two schools are working together to implement this new program for the 2019-2020 school year. The plaque was presented at D’Youville College’s Hub Huddle held on October 16, 2018 in the college’s Academic Center. The event brought local businesses and the campus community together to build excitement for the Health Professions Hub, or “The Hub,” a 50,000-square foot facility being built to train the healthcare workforce of the future.

Pictured in the photo are Dr. Maureen Finney, Dean, School of Health Professions at D’Youville; Thomas Sullivan, Community Liaison at CSAT; Dr. Lorrie Clemo, President, D’Youville College, and Charles (CJ) Urlaub, President & CEO, Mercy Hospital and Chair of the D’Youville College Board of Trustees.
