CSAT Lends a Hand to Habitat for Humanity
Several High School students accompanied Superintendent Andrew Lyle and High School Technology Teacher Chris Derrick as they completed painting and finishing work for Habitat for Humanity Buffalo. The students were able to gain hands on skills in the trades industry while giving back to a local family in need.
Since 1985, Habitat for Humanity Buffalo has assisted 308 families in achieving their dream of homeownership. Families in Habitat Buffalo’s homebuyer program are able to purchase a safe, affordable home subsidized through grants, donations, and volunteer labor.
