OCTOBER 27 UPDATE
K-5 Families - Please click here for a flier with important information for all families.
PLEASE NOTE: All families, K-5, will see schedule changes come November 2, 2020. The shift is a result of a more comprehensive academic program as we move into the school year. The expectation will be that kids are logging onto “live” sessions and completing assignments for all academic/specials areas, daily.
Grades K-2 will be transitioning to Hybrid Instruction effective November 2. All students in grades 3 -5 will remain in remote instruction until at least January.
SELECT K-2 STUDENTS TO BEGIN HYBRID LEARNING ON NOVEMBER 2We are eagerly planning for the hybrid return of some of our K-2 students. Parents who completed the survey and opted for in-person instruction will have their students attend classes two days per week and will remain remote three days per week. All other K-2 students, including those who did not complete the survey, will remain fully remote through January 2.
Please note in order to accommodate students in both a hybrid and remote setting, your child’s current K-2 teacher assignment may be subject to change. All K-2 families will be receiving a mailing within the next few days with your child’s classroom learning information. (If you do not receive a mailing by Friday, October 16, please contact the school.) Each mailing will include the option your child is assigned to (hybrid or remote), a letter from their teacher, and guidelines that will be followed should you be in the school for hybrid learning. Please note that the hybrid days your child is assigned to cannot be changed.
In the event that you missed the sign-up opportunity and are interested in your child returning to school in a hybrid fashion, please reach out to the Elementary office or Administration to be placed on the hybrid waiting list. The phone number to call is 876-7505. Thank you for your continued support as we venture through these challenging times.
