Graduation Requirements
SECTION 2: GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS AND GRADING
Both the New York State Board of Regents and the local Board of Education of the Charter School for AppliedTechnologies may issue diplomas to students who complete specific courses of study. Parents and students
are urged to carefully read the information on the tables below and to become thoroughly familiar with what
is required for a student to receive his/her diploma. Students are reminded that requirements for a diploma
apply to students depending upon the year in which they first enter ninth grade. A student who takes more
than four years to earn a diploma is subject to the requirements that apply to the year that the student first entered ninth grade.
