Buffalo Urban League
Each year, the Buffalo Urban League awards scholarships to graduating high school students and recent HSE/GED recipients in our community to help them further their education and achieve their career goals. Recipients are determined by academic achievement, community service, character, and financial need. To be eligible for the Buffalo Urban League scholarship consideration, you must be a High School Senior or recent HSE/GED recipient (within the current academic year), who plans to attend college or a vocational school in the fall of 2023.

Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo
This scholarship is worth up to $6000
Requirements: Permanent resident of Western New York, Minimum 2.0 GPA or “C” average, Accepted to any nonprofit college/university in the United States, full-time, Preference is given to Pell eligible students attending school in Western New York

Say Yes Buffalo
This scholarship is available to City of Buffalo residents that have attended a Buffalo Public or Buffalo Charter School K-12.
Students need their 900 Buffalo student number.
Please remember, this application needs to be filled out each year you are planning to attend college. Seniors that qualify must take advantage of this scholarship within 2 semesters of graduating.
In order to receive Say Yes money, the FAFSA and Tap applications must be completed.
The deadline for this scholarship - should fill out and make sure college choice says enrolled by August 1st.
